Everything Your First Visit Needs
A first visit shouldn’t feel rushed. We set aside a full 50 minutes with Dr Louis or Dr Jeremy so everything is done properly — and it’s one clear price, with no surprise fees. Here’s exactly what your $249 covers:
- A thorough, gentle examinationA careful check of your teeth, gums, bite and jaw, including screening for early signs of decay, gum disease and oral cancer — the things that are far easier to treat when caught early.
- All necessary digital X-raysLow-radiation digital images that show what’s happening between and beneath your teeth, in the roots and bone, so nothing is missed.
- A professional scale & cleanWe remove plaque and tartar build-up and polish your teeth, leaving your mouth fresh and your gums healthier.
- A full 50 minutes with your dentistUnhurried time to hear your history, understand your concerns, and walk you through a clear, honest plan — with no pressure to decide on the spot.
This is our standard fee for a new patient’s first visit. Any treatment you choose to go ahead with afterwards is quoted separately, with clear costs explained before anything begins.
What Happens Step by Step
Book Your Appointment
Call us on (07) 5445 8400 or book online. Let us know if you’re a nervous visitor — we’ll book extra time so there’s no rushing.
Arrive & Settle In
We’re at 2/64 King St, Buderim. There is onsite parking available, street parking nearby, and a bus stop directly out front. Arrive a few minutes early if you can. You’ll be greeted warmly and offered a seat. Deep breaths — the hard part (getting here) is done.
A Chat With Dr Louis or Dr Jeremy
Before any examination, your dentist will sit with you and talk. They’ll ask about your dental history, any concerns or pain you have, and what you want to achieve. This is your time to share anything — no detail is too small.
Gentle Examination
A thorough but gentle check of your teeth, gums, and mouth. We’ll take low-radiation digital X-rays to see what’s happening beneath the surface. Your dentist will talk you through what he sees, in plain English.
Your Treatment Plan
If any work is needed, you’ll get a clear plan with priorities, options, and costs. We’ll explain what’s urgent, what can wait, and what’s optional. No pressure to decide on the spot — take it home and think about it.

How Long Does It Take?

We accept all major health funds with on-the-spot claiming via HICAPS. We also accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, and cash. Payment plans are available for larger treatments — just ask.
It’s Your Turn Now
You’ve spent years looking after everyone else. Whatever state your teeth are in, whatever reason you haven’t been — it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you’re here now. We’re going to help you move forward, not look back.
If you’re nervous about the visit, read our anxious patients page — it covers everything we do to make this easier for you.
